Jacob Miranda Martinez “El Zorro” passed away on Thursday March 18, 2021 at the age of 33. Jacob was born on July 31, 1987 to Joe Martinez and Christina Miranda. Jacob was a Christian Catholic. He worked various jobs before he started to love Norteno Music. At the time of his death, he was traveling with “Los Pecadores” a band from Dallas area as a (sound system specialist.) He worked with other bands including “La Revancha” Polo Urias and others. He traveled almost the whole United States and deep-down Mexico with these bands. Jacob would give his shirt off his back to anyone that he met. He never met a stranger. He had numerous friends. Jacob loved his family, especially his mom “The Queen”. Jacob was a pro when it came to technology and he was a Houston Texan Fan. Jacob is preceded in Death by his Matenal grandparents: Gilberto and Guadalupe Miranda and his Paternal grandparents A.J. and Paula Martinez. He is survived by his Dad Joe Martinez and his Mother Christina Miranda “Th Queen”. His three brothers: Arturo Llanez Jr. of Alpine, Ruben LLanez of Los Lunas New Mexico, David Miranda and wife Teresa of Odessa, Texas. Three sisters: Sandra Islas, Nancy Robles and Regina Martinez. His beloved pet: Mia. 8 Nieces and 1 Nephew. Pallbears will be: Leo Edward Navarrette, Christopher Navarrette, Ruben Llanez jr., Jesse Galindo , Daniel Aaron, Alex Payen, Reynaldo Torres and Cleo Munoz. Visitation will be held on Tuesday March 23,2021 from 1pm to 9pm at Martinez Funeral home chapel with a Rosary being recited at 7pm. Funeral Service will take place on March 24,2021 at 2pm at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church with Father Mark Woodruff officiating. Burial will follow at Ector County Cemetery Odessa II section. Services are entrusted to Martinez Funeral home.
