Senaida Muñoz

Senaida Almodova Muñoz, 87, was taken to Heaven on February 5th, 2022 from Odessa, Texas. A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 11th, 2022 at Martinez Funeral Home at 3-6 pm.

Senaida “Naya” Muñoz was born in Alpine, Texas to Alberto Almodova and Cornelia Sanchez on June 5th, 1934. She married Samuel Muñoz on May 12th, 1956 in Odessa, Texas. She worked hard throughout her life, first as a mother, then as a wife, homemaker and provided for her children through numerous occupations. She loved tending to her yard and garden, especially her beautiful roses.

Senaida is preceded in death by her parents, Alberto and Cornelia Almodova, husband Samuel Muñoz Sr., son Samuel Muñoz, Jr., brothers Alberto Almodova, Jr., Daniel Almodova and Ubaldo Luna, Jr. and great granddaughter Sadie Le Ann Muñoz.

She is survived by her children Armando Muñoz (Terry), Norma Muñoz, Irma Esparza and Adan Leija (Mary), sisters Baudelia Ramirez, Maria Gonzales and Crestina Sanchez, 12 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, especially her namesake, Naya Elizabeth Delgado and 1 great, great  granddaughter along with numerous nieces and nephews.
