Abbie Moorer

Mr. Abbie James Moorer passed away on Monday, July 4, 2016 in Odessa, Texas at Sienna Nursing Home.

Visitation will be held 10am - 5pm Monday, July 11, 2016 at Martinez Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral service will be held at 10am Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at St. Matthews Baptist Church with Pastor Redden. Burial will follow at Ector County Cemetery. Arrangements are by Martinez Funeral Home.

Abbie Moorer was born in Odessa, Texas to Harrison and Marie Moorer on November 3, 1951 in Odessa, Texas. He went to school at Ector High School in Odessa, Texas. He worked at Billy's Zodiac until his health began to fail.

He is preceded in death by his mother Marie Moorer, father Harrison Moorer, brothers Roberson and Harrison Jr. Moorer, sister, Bobbie Henderson and son Reginald Eugene Moorer.

His is survived by two sisters, Ernestine Jackson (Clarence) and Bertha Moorer Hicks (Howard).
