Abelardo Robles

Abelardo Benavidez Robles, age 82, of Odessa Texas, went to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, March 27, 2021. Visitation will be held from 12 pm to 7 pm Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at Martinez Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be celebrated at 10 am on Wednesday March 31, 2021 at Martinez Funeral home Chapel, with Father Mark officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Martinez Funeral home and Crematory of Odessa Texas Abelardo Benavidez Robles better known as “A.B” was born in Tynan Texas to Epifanio Robles and Florinda Benavidez Robles on July 23, 1938. He devoted his life to providing, treasuring and caring for his wife of 58 years. Along with raising and loving his children. A.B. could spend hours getting ready and fixing his immaculate hair, plus you could smell his cologne from a mile away, but that pales in comparison to the time he would love to spend with his family and friends. A.B. was preceded in death by his wife Maria Robles, his daughter Olga Robles, his son Michael Robles and parents Epifanio and Florinda Robles. A.B. is survived by his son Abelardo Junior: sons and wives Rudy and Elizabeth Robles: Raymond and Margarita Robles: daughter and husband Linda and Edmundo Rios: 16 grandchildren and 26 great great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Michael Robles, Able Robles, Kristian Robles, Ignacio Robles, Martin Arroyos and Mathew Robles. Honorary Pallbearers will be Julian Robles, Adrian J. Robles, Joseph Robles, Eric Rios, Adrian C. Robles, and Ethan Robles. The family of A.B. would like to thank the Staff of MCH on 7th and 5th floors, Texas Oncology Staff and MD Anderson Cancer Center staff, and Martinez Funeral Home. During Visitation and while attending services Masks are Mandatory at Martinez Funeral home.
