Abelina Gonzales Diaz, 84, of Odessa passed away on May 29, 2015 in Odessa, Texas.
Visitation will be held 3pm - 9pm Sunday, May 31, 2015 at Martinez Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral services will be held at 1pm Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at Martinez Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Ector County Cemetery in Peaceful Garden. Arrangements are under the care of Martinez Funeral Home.
Abelina was born in Gainsville, Texas to Mr. and Mrs Leonardo Gonzales on December 10, 1930. She was married to Ambrosio Diaz for sixty six years.
Abelina is preceded in death by her parents and her son Gilbert Diaz.
Abelina is survived by her husband Ambrosio, two daughters, Rosalia Diaz Marruffo and Maria Christina Diaz both of Odessa, three sons; Abmrosio Diaz Jr. of Odessa, David Diaz of Odessa and Victor Diaz of Dallas, Texas, brothers; Louis Gonzales, Leonard Gonzales, Jesus Gonzales, Carlos Gonzales, Richard Gonzales and sister Rosita Holguin, ten grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be David Diaz of Odessa, Victor Diaz of Dallas, Augustine Dominugez of Odessa, Aureliano Castillo of Sherman, TX, Ruben Rodriguez of Odessa, Christopher Dominguez of Odessa, Ronald Dominguez of Odessa and Ruben X. Rodriguez of Odessa
