Agnes Daniels, 78, went to see her Heavenly Father on Monday, September 8, 2014. She was born in Oberlin, Louisiana, to Joseph and Clotile Simon on February 16, 1936. Mrs. Daniels was raised in Oberlin and in her early 20s, she met her lifelong husband Robert T.C. Daniels and moved to Odessa, Texas. To this union, two children were born Robert T.C. Daniels Jr. and Mary Daniels Williams. She worked as a housekeeper for many years until her body would not allow her to do so anymore. Agnes was a devoted wife, selfless loving mother, and faithful member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. She endured a great deal of pain and all the while, her faith and love of her family and God always came first.
Mrs. Daniels is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Clotile Simon her spouse, Robert T.C. Daniels three brothers, Dorstan Simon, Joseph Simon, and John Simon and her son Robert Jr.. She is survived by one sister, Mary Berry of Oberlin, Louisiana daughter Mary Morris of Midland, Texas grandchildren, DeMorri, Jurnee, Cheante, Tavian, Makayla, and Brandon daughterinlaw Valerie Daniels of Houston, Texas and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Mrs. Daniels family extends sincere gratitude to Home Hospice and the Seabury Nursing Center for the care that was provided. Local memorial services are pending and a private memorial service will be in Oberlin, Louisiana.
A rosary will be held on Friday September 12, 2014 at 7:00 PM at
Martinez Funeral Home Chapels.
