Alejandro "Alex" Rodriguez 68 years of Odessa TX passed away on July 16, 2015 surrounded by his loving family at Buena Vida Nursing Home.
Visitation will be at Martinez Funeral Home on Saturday July 18, 2015 from 12 PM to 9 PM and Sunday July 19, 2015 12 PM to 9 PM
a rosary will be held at 7 PM at Martinez Funeral Home Chapel.
Mass will be held at 10 AM Monday July 20, 2015 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Father Chavez Officiating. Services are entrusted to Martinez Funeral Home and Crematory under the direction of Funeral director Tony Lujan and Nancy Olvera.
Alejandro was born on November 19, 1946 in Del Rio TX to Cipriano Rodriguez and Beatriz Enriquez.
Alejandro married Antonia Lara. He worked as a pipe fitter for City Pipe in Odessa TX. Alejandro was a loving and caring father and grandfather.
Alejandro is preceded in death by his parents Cipriano & Beatriz Rodriquez brothers Raul "Bully" Rodriguez Cipriano Rodriguez Jr. and sister's Dora Guzman and Bertha Rodriguez.
Alejandro Rodriguez is survived by his wife Antonia L. Rodriguez of Odessa TX. Daughter's Rosa Lima of Indianapolis IN, Sonia Murillo of Odessa TX, Nichole Fowler of Big Spring TX, Sons Anthony Rodriguez of Odessa TX, Alex Rodriguez of Odessa TX & Chris Rodriguez of Odessa TX. Brother Robert Rodriguez of Belton, TX. Two Sisters Consuelo Vasquez of Austin, Tx and Elsa Galvan of Odessa, TX. Alejandro also leaves behind eight grandkids: Erika Murillo, J.P. Gonzales, Yarely Rodriguez, Maribel Zubia, Omero Zubia, Zaniel Fowler, Dominic Rodriguez and Candice Rodriguez and a numerous amount of family and friends.
