Alfred Ramirez Rangel Jr., 49, of Odessa passed away Friday, September 20, 2013 in Odessa, TX.

Funeral services will be held at 11am, Friday, September 27, 2013 at Greater St. John Baptist Church, 212 S. Muskingum Ave., Odessa, TX, with Rev. Jackie McCoy officiating. Burial will follow at Ector County Cemetery.

Alfred was born in San Luis Obispo, CA to Sandra Smith and Alfred Ramirez Rangel Sr. He attended school in Austin, TX. He married Dorothy Rangel on March 7, 1997. He worked for the Oil Industry for over 20 years as a CDL Driver. Alfred was a Christian Member of Soldier for Christ Ministries.

He is survived by his wife Dorothy B. Rangel, his children, Alfred Trey Ramirez Rangel III and Chase Matthew Rangel, his step children, Kenyatta Milton and Kenneth Milton Jr., his grandchildren, Chasity Rene Rangel, Vzysha Bell, Chaizel Milton and Vasi Milton, his parents, Sandra M. Smith Norman and Alfred Ramirez Rangel Sr. Dorothy, his siblings, Jonnie Lee Rangel, Robyn Renee Trevino Joe Frank, Ramse Ricardo Rangel and Anthony Carlos Rangel. Alfred is also survived by his special friends, and all the rest of his work Buddies. Also survived by his special uncle Max Rangel and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Alfred is preceded in death by his grandparents, Harold B. Theodosia E. Walbey, Maximino M. Guadalupe R. Rangel.
