Alonzo Molinar

Alonzo Molinar, 54, of Odessa, passed away on February 8, 2015 in Odessa.

Rosary will be Thursday, February 12th, 7pm at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish in Odessa TX.

Funeral services will be held at 10am on Friday, February 13th at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish with Father David Herrera officiating. Burial will follow at Ector County Cemetery. Arrangements are by Martinez Funeral Home.
Alonzo was born in Artesia, New Mexico to Isabel and Petra Molinar on October 15, 1960. He went to school in Pecos. He married Cynthia Martinez on June 30, 2001 in Odessa. He worked as a diesel mechanic for Schlumberger for 10 years. He was a good, hard-working man who completely cherished his family. Alonzo's big, booming voice was matched by his big heart. He was very generous with his time and never met a stranger. He will be greatly missed and will always have a place in our hearts. We thank God for giving us Alonzo and are so very grateful for the time we had with him.
Alonzo is survived by spouse Cynthia Molinar and children Matthew, Bella, Jacob; Mary Jane Molinar and spouse J.R Ceballos; Leslie Molinar; Betina Molinar and spouse Joey Robinson; Alonzo Jr. Molinar; Alexia Bolden and spouse Andre Bolden. Brothers and sisters include Jose Molinar, Victor Molinar, Emilia Vigil, Jaime Molinar, Rosa Gutierrez, Santos Molinar, Lupe Ruiz, Adan Molinar, Abel Molinar and Michael Molinar. Grandchildren are Zackari Ramirez, Deaynera Ramirez, Ariana Ramirez, Zakaira Ramirez, Alonzo Molinar III, Joshua Molinar, Janessa Pride, Jai Butler, Rhys Robinson.
Pallbearers will be Alonzo Molinar Jr, Matthew Molinar, Joshua Vigil, Joseph Vigil, Zack Ramirez, Aaron Molinar and Raul Gonzalez.
The family of Alonzo wish to extend our sincere thanks to all who have shown such love and support, including Alonzo's co-workers at Schlumberger, his biker friends, the staff at Reagan Elementary and Ireland Elementary, Father David Herrera, Celina Vasquez, Malissa Self, Martinez Funeral Home and St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish.
