Amador G. Pando, went to be with the Lord on January 26, 2017 in Odessa, Texas.
Visitations will be at Martinez Funeral Home beginning Saturday, January 28th at 11:30 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday's viewing, January 29, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with Rosary at 7:00 p.m.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 30, 2017 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Father Chavez officiating. Burial will follow at Ector County Cemetery in the Odessa II Garden. Arrangements are by Martinez Funeral Home.
Amador G. Pando was born in Manuel Benavidez, Chihuahua México to Abundio Pando and Valentina Garcia Pando. He married Maria de Jesus R. Pando on October 17, 1961 in Ojinaga, Chihuahua and renewed their vows on January 13, 2017.
Amador Pando retired from Compressor Component as a machinist. He was a dedicated employee and worked hard his entire life to provide for his family. He loved his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren as they meant the world to him. He was a strong man who fought a good fight, never complaining, always smiling, he didn't ask for much and he always gave with a kind and open heart. Dedicated husband, loving father and grandfather, noble son, he will be dearly missed.
Amador G. Pando is preceded in death by Abundio Pando, Valentina G. Pando, Alvaro Pando and Manuel Pando.
He is survived by Maria de Jesus Pando (wife), Valentina & Raul Castaneda (daughter), Guillermo and Consuelo Pando (son), Amador and Diana Pando (son) and Ricardo and Sabrina Pando (son), Brothers: Ambrosio Pando, Alfonso Pando, Aurelio Pando, Adolfo Pando, Francisco Pando, and sister Guadalupe Pando.
Grandchildren: Raul Castaneda Jr. (Janette), Larry Castaneda (April), David Castaneda, Guillermo Pando Jr. (Érica), Jessica Pando (Joe), Ceaser Pando, Ricardo Pando Jr. (Terri), Lisa Marie Pando, Rudy Pando (Diana) and 20 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Ricardo Pando Jr., Guillermo Pando Jr., Rudy Pando, Larry Castaneda, Raul Castaneda Jr., and David Castaneda. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jessica Pando, Ceaser Pando and Lisa Marie Pando.
The Family of Amador G. Pando wish to extend our sincere thanks to family and friends for their prayers, thoughts and condolences. We would also like to thank the Organization of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and St. Anthony's Catholic Church as well as Dr. R. J. Patel for his years of care for Mr. Pando and to the entire staff at Medical Center Hospital. We are grateful for Nancy and the entire staff at Martinez Funeral Home.
