Anetra Lynn Fields, 49, Odessa, TX passed away on December 23, 2022 in Arlington, TX.

Visitation will be from 1pm-9pm (closed casket) Thursday, January 5, 2023 at Martinez Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11am Friday January 6, 2023 at Texas & Clements St. Church of Christ, 1201 S. Texas Ave., Odessa, TX 79763 with Rev. Devon DeShields officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens, 6801 E. Business 20, Odessa, TX 79762.

Arrangements are by Martinez Funeral Home, 1040 S. Dixie Blvd., Odessa, TX 79761.

Anetra was born in Waco, TX to Roosevelt Fields and Debra Sutton (Fulbright) on March 20, 1973. She went to Permian High School and attended Odessa College. She worked as a Senior Credit & Collection Specialist for Mr. Cooper Mortgage Company for the past 10 years.

Anetra is preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Henry and Jean Rand, fraternal grandparents, Henry and Ola Mae Fields.

Anetra is survived by her father, Roosevelt Fields (Waco, TX), her mother, Debra Sutton (Odessa, TX), brother Patrick Fields (Austin, TX), sister Ebony Fields (Midland, TX), brother Douwann Sutton (Odessa, TX), brother Willie “Will” Brooks (Hillsboro, TX), step-brother Christopher Holder (Waco, TX), step-sister Detra McGee (Phoenix, AZ), step-brother Antonio Harris (Phoenix, AZ), and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces.

Pallbearers will be Patrick Fields, Douwann Sutton, Willie Brooks, Tremaine Butler, Camaron Wynn, and Lloyd Hill.

The family of Anetra wishes to extend our sincere thanks and gratitude to all extended family members and friends who have supported us through this very difficult time.
