Annette Munoz

Annette Munoz, (43), of Odessa TX, passed away on 10/24/23 in Odessa.

Visitation will be on Monday, October 30th from 1:00pm-9:00pm. Rosary will be held on Monday, October 30th at 7:00pm.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm on Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Reception will take place following mass at St. Anthony Parish Hall. Funeral arrangements are by Martinez Funeral Home.

Annette was born in Odessa, Tx to Anita “Anna” Mercado on February 11, 1980. She graduated from Career Center and received an Associates Degree from Odessa College in Liberal Arts and Education with a focus on music. She had a big heart and was a “Mother Goose” to many. She worked at the Ector County Health Department and loved her job and coworkers. Annette loved music and pursued her dreams by releasing an album “Mi Inspiracion” and writing her own songs. Her heart was bigger than she was and loved her family and friends fiercely.

Annette is preceded in death by grandparents, Paula and Andres “Andy” Munoz.

Annette is survived by parents, Anita “Anna” and Jesus Mercado. Siblings, Jacob (Amy) Munoz, Angelica (Marcy) Mercado, Jesus (Mariah) Mercado IV, Jeremy (Katie) Mercado. Nephews, Jacob (Megan) Munoz Jr., Elijah Velarde, Jeremiah Munoz, Jayven Munoz. Nieces, Jaelynn Munoz, Maleena Mercado, Stella Mercado, Jessa Mercado and Zoe Mercado. Great nephew, Jacob Munoz III. And numerous godchildren, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Pall Bearers are: Jacob Munoz, Jacob Munoz Jr., Jesus Mercado IV, Jeremy Mercado, Elijah Velarde, Jeremiah Munoz, Jayven Munoz, Mikahel “Wiki” DeLeon.
