Antonio Mendoza Jr.

Antonio Villa Mendoza Jr., 65 of Odessa, passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2020 in Odessa.

Visitation will be held 9am to 9pm on Thursday, February 6, 2020 with a Rosary at 7pm at Martinez Funeral Home.

Mass will be celebrated at 10am on Friday, February 7, 2020 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. A private cremation will follow. Arrangements are entrusted to Martinez Funeral Home and Crematory.

Antonio was born in Alliance, Nebraska to Antonio Sr. and Minnie Mendoza on November 17, 1954. He was a graduate of Ector High School in Odessa, Texas. Antonio always held his Catholic faith close to him and was an avid lover of car shows and low riders, but most of all he had a great love for his children and grandchildren whom he made endless memories with. Antonio was a retired Auto Collision Painter.

He is survived by his mother; Minnie Saenz, sons; Luis Mendoza, George Arciaga, daughters; Christina Mendoza, Tiffany Marrufo and Sarah Mendoza, sisters; Josie Mendoza of Odessa, Mary M. Velarde of Midland and brother; Jessie Mendoza of Midland.

Antonio is preceded in death by brother Julian Mendoza of Odessa.

Pallbearers will be Julian Garcia, Ralph Robles, Jose Gonzalez, Jeremiah Munoz, Janaya Miller, Luis Mendoza Jr., Mike Larez and Isaiah Miller.
