Armida Bermea

Armida Bermea was born in Artesia, New Mexico to Apolonio Alvarado and Maria Luz Marquez on April 17, 1949. She went to school at Lake Arthur, New Mexico. She married Jose V. Bermea on November 13, 1962 in New Mexico. Armida was a homemaker who loved everyone and enjoyed her family’s presence.

Rosary will be held on Monday February 17th at 7pm at Martinez Funeral Home and Crematory.  Family viewing will be Sunday February 16th from 1 pm-5pm and public visitations will be Sunday February 16th from 5-9 pm, Monday February 17th from 9-9 pm.  Funeral services will be held at 10 am, Tuesday February 18, 2020 at Martinez Funeral Home and Crematory.  Arrangements are by Martinez Funeral Home and Crematory.

Armida is preceded in death by her father Apolonio Alvarado, Mother Maria Luz Marquez, sisters Librada Navarrete and Eva Paz, brother Roman Alvarado, son Tony Bermea, and granddaughter Stephanie Marie Bermea.

Armida is survived by her husband Jose V. Bermea, daughters Deborah and Gloria Bermea, sons Joe Bermea, David Bermea, Steve Bermea, John Eric Bermea, and Gregory Joseph Bermea, 11 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandkids.

Pallbearers will be John Eric Bermea, Jon Caleb Bermea, Gregory Joseph Bermea, David Rene Bermea, Lucas Mark Gallegos, and Phillip Brian Gallegos.
