Arturo Arreola Ramos

Arturo A Ramos, 75 of Odessa, Tx passed away on December 25, 2024 at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa Texas. 

Arturo was born in El Mulato, Ojinaga Chihuahua to Santiago & Adela Ramos on June 19, 1949. He was a very hard worker, and a true cowboy, who loved to gamble, and was also known by his distinct whistle. He enjoyed spending time with his family and his partner of 40 years Rosario “Chayo” Garza. 

Arturo is preceded in death by his parents Santiago & Adela Ramos. Brothers: Arnold Ramos, twins Rene & Rolando Ramos, Carlos Ramos, Tacho Ramos, Juan Ramos & niece Melissa Saenz. 

Arturo is survived by his step daughter, Rosita Garza, son Jorge Arturo. Brothers: Manuel (Tencha) Ramos, Santiago Ramos Jr, Alonso Ramos, Jesus (Irene) Ramos. Sisters: Amparo Ramos, Olga (Zeke) Quintela & Sylvia (Joel) Ponce. Arturo has grandkids & lots of nieces and nephews. 

Visitation for Arturo will be held Thursday, January 2, 2025 at 1 PM to 9 PM with the prayer service at 7 PM at Martinez funeral home outside chapel. Funeral service will be Friday, January 3, 2025 at 10 AM officiated by Pastor Jesus Ramos at Martinez funeral home outside chapel. Burial will follow at Ector County Cemetery. 

Pallbearers: Jorge Ramos, Manuel Ramos Jr, Jesus, Ramos Jr, Randy Ramos, Isaac Ponce, Timothy Ramos & Adriel Campos.
