Augustine Maldonado,42, passed away on August 8, 2024.

Visitation will be held at Martinez Funeral Home on Thursday August 15, 2024 from 1pm - 9pm. Rosary to be held at Martinez Funeral Home on Thursday August 15, 2024 from at 7pm. Funeral services will be held at 2pm on  Friday August 16, 2024 at St. Joseph’s with Father Joseph Uecker of St Joseph officiating. The burial services will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Augustine a.k.a Augie, was born in Odessa, Tx to Manuel and Juanita Maldonado on November 8, 1981. He graduated in 2001 from the Career Center in Odessa, Tx. He was a father to 3 sons and 2 daughters who he deeply loved. He was a fun loving tio to his nieces and nephews who he loved as his own. Augustine worked hard to provide and care for his family. Anywhere he showed up he was sure to make friends and would give his shirt off his back to those in need. He was "The Professional" forklift driver at Premiere pipe. He prided himself on his Bar-B-Q skills and his knowledge of football, Dallas Cowboys specifically.

Augustine was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Manuel and Francis Maldonado Sr. and maternal grandparents Locadio and Benita Cortez and by his tia Gloria Cortez.

Augustine is survived by his sons; Levi Ortega, Augustine Maldonado Jr. and partner Emma Laura Marquez, Isaac Rubio, his daughters Brinalee Mendoza and Eleeyz Carrillo. Parents Manuel and Juanita Maldonado, sisters Corina Munoz brother-in-law Kristopher Munoz, Ben and Gracie Garcia, Alexandria Maldonado, Victoria Maldonado, his tias Yolanda and Lydia Maldonado, Antonio and Libby Maldonado and 7 other tias and tios and his nieces and nephews Kristin, Cienna, Kristopher Jr. and Cruz Munoz, Elijah, Noah, Nehemiah, Uriah, and Hezekiah Garcia, Malaki and Jaslene Ramos, Roslynn and Ra’lynn Maldonado with a granddaughter to come.

Pallbearers will be Levi Ortega, Augustine Maldonado Jr., Isaac Rubio, Malaki Ramos, Jaime Fuentes, and Rudy Montoya.

Memorials may be given to Martinez Funeral services. The family of Maldonado wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Premiere Pipe, Rita and David Perry, Larry and Adel Cortez and for all the many expressions of love, concern, kindness, support and most of all your prayers.
