Aurelio Alolong

Aurelio “Leo” Alingalan Alolong, 57 of Odessa, passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2019 in Odessa, Texas.

Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Father Bernardito officiating.  Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Aurelio was born on February 19, 1962 in Alimodian, Iloilo, Philippines to Manuel and Catalina Alolong. He graduated in Zamboanga, Philippines with a bachelor’s degree in accounting.  He was a Security Officer for Medical Center Hospital in Odessa, Texas. Leo was a handyman that could do it all, he was definitely a” Jack of all Trades.”   He loved to cook (cooking lechon), to singing, as he was a choir member at the church, where he also played the guitar. He never met a stranger and always had fun.

Aurelio is survived by his wife, Juliet Magno Alolong; children, Jorel Alolong, Aurelio Alolong Jr., Jasmin Alolong and Josepeh Alolong; his siblings, Eusebio Alolong, Julia Alolong Castillo, Francisco Alolong, Loreto Alolong, Gloria Alolong Villasoto, Antonio Alolong, Aurora Alolong Yazon, Gertrudes Alolong,  Zara, Lucia Alolong Alibagon, Corazon Alolong Corrales and Manuelito Alolong.
