Aurora D Granado, known by all as Lola or Momo. 77. of Odessa. Tx passed away on August 7.2023.

 

A Celebration of Life will be held at 6p.m., Friday August 18,2023 at the Granado residence. We will have a gathering/comida and balloon release to celebrate what would have been her 78th birthday. This celebration will be just as she would have wanted, at her home surrounded by all of her family and loved ones.

 

Aurora was born in Sinton, TX to Maria and Henry Dominguez Sr. on August 18,1945. She the oldest, along with her seven sibling were raised in Odessa. Aurora attended Ector High School until her tenth grade year. On April 18, 1964, Aurora was taken, swept away by the love of her life Antonio and they were married shortly after on May 2, 1964. Aurora and Antonio raised their three children here in Odessa. Aurora was a homemaker for the majority of her life, where she helped her loving children care for and raise her grand and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed her days outside visiting with family and making sure that everyone who stopped by to visit was well fed.

 

Aurora is preceded in death by her parents Maria and Henry Dominguez Sr., brothers Ruben Dominguez, Oscar Dominguez and sister Hopie.

 

Aurora is survived by her loving husband Antonio Granado Sr., son Antonio Granado Jr and wife Denise, son Steven Granado and daughter Nancy G Palomino and husband Albert Sr., Her brother Henry Dominguez and wife Leonor, brother Adolfo Dominguez and wife Dora, brother Eugene Dominguez and wife Juanita, sister Sulema Lujan and husband Ruben, and baby sister Gloria Mancha and husband Frank, Her grandchildren Vanessa Vasquez-Clark and wife Christina, Genis Granado, Stevie Harris and husband HG, Steven Bubba Granado and wife Brittany, Albert Palomino Jr and husband Nick, Amber Granado, Nanette Palomino and husband Brandon, April Granado and partner Adrian, Alexandra Castruita and husband Alejandro, and Cruz Granado.

Her great-grandchildren, her greatest blessings as she would say: Isaac, Brianna, Melaejah, Kaliyah, Ethan, Thaniel, Zedekiah, Cedella, Bella, Onawa, Ky'Mani, Iris, Ezekiel, Jonas Jr. "JJ", and Xae'Jordan. Many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

 

Our Granado Family wish to convey out deep gratitude for the outpouring of all the love, prayers, calls. texts. food and support during our saddening time. We love you.
