Aurora Torres Juarez

Aurora T. Juarez (Bora) nació en Wilson, TX, hija de Jerónimo Juárez y Natividad Torres el 9 de octubre de 1926. En 1930 se mudó a Cuchillo Parado, México. En 1975 se mudó a Pecos, TX hasta 1990 cuando se mudó a Odessa, TX donde permaneció hasta su pacífico fallecimiento el 23 de agosto de 2023 a las 11:40 a.m. a la edad de 96 años.

Aurora era una madre, abuela y tía amorosa. Ella hizo que cada persona se sintiera tan especial y amada. Aurora era muy querida por todos los que la conocían. Tenía visitantes que venían y la veían casi a diario. Le encantaba estar rodeada de su familia y sus seres queridos. Realmente era más feliz cuando todos los que amaba estaban a su alrededor. Ella nunca cuestionó por qué tomó tanto tiempo la visita; simplemente estaba agradecida de que la visitaras. Ella siempre brindó apoyo y amor a su familia.

Su partida nos recuerda que los ángeles nos cuidan.

Sería un error decir que Aurora perdió la batalla porque nunca dejó de luchar. Por muy enferma que estuviera, siempre estaba decidida. Cuando cualquier otro se habría derrumbado, Aurora se mantuvo tan fuerte. A través de ella, sabemos cómo son realmente la resiliencia y la perseverancia. En ella no había renuncia. El hecho de que ella ya no esté aquí no significa que haya perdido la pelea.

A Aurora le precedieron en la muerte su padre Jerónimo Juárez, su madre Natividad Torres y sus ocho hermanos Victorio Juárez, Nicolasa Olivas, Lino Juárez, Romana Navarrete, Pilar (Pila) Lares, Santos Ortiz, Graciolo “Calolo” Juarez y Martina López, nieto. José Ramón “Chef“ Juárez, Jr. y tataranieta Brielle Ryan Miramontes.

Los que quedan para apreciar su memoria y continuar su legado son sus cuatro hijos Luis Carlos Juárez, Sr. y su esposa Alicia de Pecos, TX, José Ramón (Pelon) Juárez, Sr. y su esposa Diana de México, René Juárez, Sr. y su esposa Elida de Chihuahua. , México y Guadalupe Juárez y su esposo Saúl de Odessa, TX., 11 nietos, 19 bisnietos y 5 tataranietos y numerosas sobrinas y sobrinos.

Los portadores activos y honorarios del féretro serán sus nietos y bisnietos: Luis Carlos Juarez Jr., Anthony Ray Vasquez, Jude Juarez, Ayden Arnulfo Ybarra, Jose Kaleb Juarez, Daven Chavez, Angel Anthony Alvarez, Rene Juarez Jr., Jonathan Sanchez, Nathan Sanchez, Jezreel Sánchez y Ian Leal 

La familia de Aurora desea extender nuestro más sincero agradecimiento al Dr. R.J. Patel, el Dr. Alan Smith, Odessa Home Hospice, Martinez Funeral Home y las enfermeras del quinto piso del Medical Center Hospital que cuidaron a nuestra querida madre y abuela. Un sincero agradecimiento a nuestro familiar, María Juarez Ortiz, por hacer todo lo posible y quedarse con nosotros desde el principio hasta el final y ser el enlace entre la familia y la funeraria. Su generosidad y amabilidad hacia todos nosotros no pasó desapercibida.

Aurora T. Juarez (Bora) was born in Wilson, TX to Jeronimo Juarez and Natividad Torres on October 9th, 1926.  In 1930 she moved to Cuchillo Parado, Mexico. In 1975 she moved to Pecos, TX until 1990 when she moved to Odessa, TX where she remained until her peaceful passing on August 23^rd, 2023 at 11:40 a.m. at the age of 96 years old. 

Aurora was a loving mother, grandmother and aunt.  She made each person feel so special and loved.  Aurora was very loved by all that met her.  She had visitors coming and seeing her pretty much daily.  She loved being surrounded by her family and loved ones.  She truly was the happiest when everyone she loved was around her.  She never questioned why it took so long to visit she was just grateful you did visit. She always provided support and love to her family. 

Her departure reminds us that angels are watching over us. 

It would be wrong to say that Aurora lost her battle because she never stopped fighting.  No matter how sick she was, she was always determined.  When anyone else would have broken, Aurora stayed so strong.  Through her, we know what resilience and perseverance truly looks like.  There was no quit in her.  Just because she in no longer here, it doesn’t mean she lost the fight. 

Aurora is preceded in death by her Father Jeronimo Juarez, Mother Natividad Torres all eight of her siblings Victorio Juarez, Nicolasa Olivas, Lino Juarez, Romana Navarrete, Pilar (Pila) Lares, Santos Ortiz, Graciolo “Calolo” Juarez  and Martina Lopez, grandson Jose Ramon “Chef“ Juarez Jr., and great-great-granddaughter Brielle Ryan Miramontes. 

Those left to cherish her memory and continue her legacy are her four children Luis Carlos Juarez, Sr. and wife Alicia from Pecos, TX, Jose Ramon (Pelon) Juarez, Sr. and wife Diana of Mexico, Rene Juarez, Sr. and wife Elida from Chihuahua, Mexico and Guadalupe Juarez and husband Saul from Odessa, TX., 11 Grandchildren, 19 Great- Grandchildren and 5 Great-Great Grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Active and Honorary Pallbearers will be her grandchildren and great-grandchildren:  Luis Carlos Juarez Jr., Anthony Ray Vasquez, Jude Juarez, Ayden Arnulfo Ybarra, Jose Kaleb Juarez, Daven Chavez, Angel Anthony Alvarez, Rene Juarez Jr. , Jonathan Sanchez, Nathan Sanchez, Jezreel Sanchez and Ian Leal.

The family of Aurora wishes to extend our sincere thank you to Dr. R.J.  Patel, Dr. Alan Smith, Odessa Home Hospice, Martinez Funeral Home and the Nurses at Medical Center Hospital 5^th floor that cared for our beloved mother and grandmother.  A heartfelt thank you to our family member, Maria Juarez Ortiz, for going above and beyond and staying with us from the beginning to the very end and being the liaison between the family and Funeral home.  Your generosity and kindness towards us all did not go unnoticed.
