Beatrice M. Gonzalez

Beatrice M. Gonzalez 84, passed away on Friday, November 1, 2024, in McCamey, Texas.

Beatrice was born on July 30, 1940, in Shafter, Texas, to Francisco Madrid (Father) and Santos Gomez (Mother). She came to Crane in 1955 and resided there until September 2023, when she moved to McCamey, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her parents Francisco and Santos Madrid, her sisters Paula Borrunda, and Lidia Hernandez, and brother Luis Madrid along with her husband Esteban (Steve) L. Gonzalez, and granddaughter Angelina G. Avila.

She is survived by her sister Alicia Bass of McCamey, TX. Along with her daughters Linda (Jesus) Avila, Carolina (Gus) Sandoval, Jaine Gonzalez, Irma (Rey) Tavarez, and Julia (Eliseo) Galindo, and her 13 Grandchildren, 18 Great -Grandchildren, and 3 Great-great Grandchildren.

Pall Bearers: Aries Avila, ALex Avila, Jeremiah Sandoval, Santiago Rodriguez Jr., Steven Tavarez and Ethan De Leon.

Honorary Pall Bearers: Jesus Avila, Gustavo Sandaval, Rey Tavarez, Michael Lozano, Eliseo Galindo, Juan Falcon, Hunter Maxim, Cisco Izaguirre and Josiah Avila. 

The family of Beatrice Gonzalez wishes to extend our sincere thanks to McCamey Convalescent Center, Heart to Heart Hospice (Kert, Lori), and her marvelous friend Adelina Hernandez.

Visitation from 3:00PM to 9:00PM Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at Martinez Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM Thursday, November 7, 2024, at First Baptist Church in Crane. Graveside Services to follow at the Crane County Cemetery.
