Belia Esparza Tovar, 89, of Odessa, TX. Passed away on March 31, 2019 in Odessa.
A Rosary will be recited at 7pm Sunday, April 7, 2019 at Martinez Funeral Home in Odessa Texas. Visitation will be from 1pm - 9pm on Sunday, April 7, 2019.
Funeral Service will be held at 10am. Monday, April 8, 2019 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Father Chavez officiating.
Belia was born in Grandfalls, Texas to Roman and Genoveva Esparza on June 17,1929. She married Simon G. Tovar on September 10, 1949 in Waco, Texas. She worked as a nutrition specialist at Buena Vista I.S.D until retirement.
Belia is preceded in death by parents, Roman and Genoveva Esparza, husband Simon Tovar, son Adolfo Tovar, sister Ofelia Martinez, brothers Roman Esparza and Manuel Esparza, and nephew Michael Esparza.
Belia is survived by daughters, Esther Hummel, Susan Caldwell, Renee Dickey. Son, Arnulfo Tovar and Alonso Tovar, 18 Grandchildren and 17 Great-Grandchildren. 2 sisters and 7 brothers.
