Billie Louise Swoopes, 75 years of Odessa went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 16, 2018 in Lubbock, Texas.
Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, July 23, 2018 in the Old Odessa Section of Ector County Cemetery with Reverend Michael Hammond officiating. Arrangements are under Martinez Funeral Home.
Billie was born on March 26, 1943 to Mack Swoopes Sr. and Inez Truesdale in Odessa, Texas. Billie went to school in Odessa and became a Beautician. She was a joyful person that always had a smile to give.
Billie is preceded in death by her parents Mack and Inez Swoopes, son Tony Swoopes, sisters; Willie Ruth Houston, Verna Mae Hawkins, Vinia Jean Bledsoe and brothers; Mack Swoopes Jr. and Essie D. Swoopes.
She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Tisha Bowers, granddaughter Latasha Washington and sister Jackie Hammond, numerous nieces and nephews.
