Billy Davison

Billy John Davison, 85, of Brownwood, passed away on Friday, September 30, 2016 in Odessa.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 3, 2016 at Midessa Heights Baptist Church with Dr. Michael Dain officiating.

Billy was born in Winfield, Kansas to LaMoyne Stainbrook and Damon Davison on October 16, 1930. He married Eva Lee Morgan on May 24, 1952. After retiring from the oilfield in Monahans, he moved to Lake Brownwood where he enjoyed spending his retired years fishing and spending time with friends and family. His hobbies included hunting and fishing.

Billy is preceded in death by his parents LaMoyne and Damon Davison; brother Robert George (Bobby) Davison, and sister Ruthy Tucker.

Left to cherish his memory include his loving wife Eva Lee Davison; son Billy Davison Jr. and wife Lisa; daughters June Davison and husband Bobby, Carol Richardson, and Cindy McCrohan and husband Tony, brothers Damon Davison (Buz) and wife Brenda and Jimmy Davison. Extended survivors include 7 grandchildren: Shawn Davison, Casic Morrill, Jeremy McCrohan, Joshua McCrohan, Katie McAfee, Brittany Richardson, and Morgan Richardson; six great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be given to Star Care Hospice in Odessa, Texas.
