Bobby Bruner Jr. was born in Wichita Falls, Texas to Latrisha Tealer and Bobby Bruner on August 30, 2004. He went to school at Odessa High School. Bobby brought immeasurable joy and light into our lives with his kind heart, radiant smile, and boundless curiosity. He loved being around family, watching his brothers play basketball and football and playing basketball and football. Bobby enjoyed hanging out with friends and also was the biggest Kansas City Chiefs.
Bobby is preceded in death by; Geneva Tealer (Great Grandmother), Mary Gonzalez (Great Grandmother), Eddie Tealer Jr. (Grandfather), Dollie “Braziel White (Aunt), Willie Tealer (Uncle), Tonya Braziel (Cousin), Sharon Tealer (Cousin), Michael Tealer (Cousin), Kei’Marion Williams (Brother), A'jayveion Allen (Nephew).
Bobby is survived by, Latrisha Tealer (Mom), Bobby Bruner (Dad), Cynthia Tealer (Maternal Grandmother), Mary Bruner (Paternal Grandmother), Kasandra Tealer aunt; Sibling Kieria Richard, Sha’Colby Hill Jr., Jordan Bruner, and Kei’shaun Williams. Neices Kaliyah Black, Pure Hill; Nephews Cyrie Allen, and Zai’Pri Black and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation is set for Thursday May 30, 2024, from 1pm to 9pm at Martinez Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral service is set for 10am Friday May 31, 2024, at St. James Baptist Church 2212 E 11th St. in Odessa, Tx 79761 with Dr. James Bolton officiating.
Burial will be at 2:30 pm Friday May 31, 2024, at Mt. Zion Cemetery 1761 Co Rd 430 in Brownfield, TX. Rev. Brandon Marshall officiating.
Pallbearers: Devyn Corrales, Elijah Dickson, Dezjuan Black, Traejon Tealer, Shannon Tealer Jr., Seferino Gonzales, Elijah Garza.
The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at Medical Center Hospital ICU in Odessa, Texas for their incredible care provided to Bobby and the entire family; and a very special thank you to Dr. Garcia and her staff for her guidance in giving Bobby the opportunity to use his gift and save the lives of others. Bobby gave the gift of life through organ and tissue donation. Bobby’s organs have restored life’s promise for many families. Honoring his life generous wish, the gift of life was shared with many people in need through organ and tissue donation.
