Brad Allen Van Cleave, 64, of Odessa Texas, passed away on November 11, 2021 in Odessa. Brad was born in Wichita Falls, Texas on January 1, 1957 to Johnnie (Keith) and Acie Hayes Van Cleave. He attended school in Odessa, having graduated from Permian High School in 1975, where he was a member of the National Honor Society. While at Permian, he was an All-District basketball player for the Panthers. After graduation, he played basketball at Odessa College. When his college days were over, Brad started his long career in the oil industry as a successful salesman. Brad was a member of Sherwood Baptist Church in Odessa. Brad is preceded in death by his Mother, Father, Maternal and Paternal Grandparents. Brad is survived by his children, son Casey Hayes Van Cleave and wife Cricket, daughter Candice Lea (Van Cleave) McCall and husband Chris, grandchildren, Macy Pallini, Cadence Van Cleave, Harris Rudd, Collins McCall and Jack McCall. He is also survived by his siblings, Judy Beth Van Cleave of Odessa, Acie Hayes Van Cleave Jr. and wife Lori of Houston, Texas, and Bob Lee Van Cleave and wife Denise of Odessa, Texas. He is also survived by a Nephew, several Nieces, Cousins, Aunts and Uncles. The family would like to thank everyone for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time. The family requests, in lieu of flowers, that contributions be made to a youth basketball program or a charity of your choice.

Celebration of Life will be held on February 26, 2022 at South Forty Banquet Hall located at 2130 Andrews Hwy., Odessa, TX 79761 at 4pm.
