Burl "Bee" Lee Bonner Jr.

Burl Lee Bonner aka “Bee” 63, of Odessa, TX, passed away on January 12, 2025 in Odessa TX.

Celebration Of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday January 18, 2025 at Martinez Funeral Home with Rev. Darren Willis of Bethlehem Baptist Church, officiating. Repass will follow after service at Texas & Clements Church of Christ 1201 S. Texas St. Odessa, Texas. 

Burl Bonner Jr. was born in Odessa, TX to Burl Bonner Sr. and Emma Lee Clark on December 20, 1961. He went to school at Ector high school in Odessa, TX. He married Cynthia Thomas on August 11, 1981 in Odessa, TX. He graduated from Ector high school. He was a driver for Ector County ISD foodservice for 10 years.

Burl Bonner is preceded in death by Burl Bonner Sr. and Emma Clark.

Burl Bonner is survived by spouse-Cynthia Bonner, children-Tyrisha and Jamaal Strickland, Shala Bonner, and Burl Bonner Jr., sisters-Lynetta Shaw and Kimberly Clark, grandchildren- Bre’Oshynique, Tee’ Asia, and Alieyah Jarrell. Zariyah, David Jr, and Zalayah Horn and Ka’Maury and Kayden Bonner great-grandchildren- Z’Nylla Garza-Horn and A’rmanii Jackson.
