Calvin Bernard Lynch, 52, of Odessa, passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2020, in Odessa, Texas.
Visitation will be Monday, February 24, 2020 at Martinez Funeral Home and Crematory.
Funeral services will be held at 10 AM on Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at Living Vision Church Ministries, Bishop E. M. Jackson of Inner City Tabernacle of Life Ministries, officiating. Burial will follow at Ector County Cemetery in Odessa II Section. Arrangements are by Martinez Funeral Home and Crematory.
Calvin B. Lynch was born in Odessa, Texas to Alvin Dewayne Cornish and Annie Lynch on August 26, 1967. He went to school at Ector High School. He married Jacqueline Lynch on January 19, 2014 in Odessa, Texas. He worked as a chef at Logan’s Roadhouse for seven years, retiring in 2016. He was involved in his local church ministry and served as an ordained Elder at Inner City Tabernacle of Life Ministries. He was a member of Tabernacle of Life Covenant Partners Fellowship (TLCP) serving as the Community Outreach Manager. Calvin preached the Word of God in his church as well as evangelizing in various locations in the community. He was a very hard worker and was willing to help at any time. He loved his family, his church and his pastors – ready to be used at any time and will be greatly missed.
Calvin is preceded in death by Alvin Dewayne Cornish, Alvin Lynch, and Annie Lynch.
Calvin is survived by his wife, Jacqueline Lynch, children, Shamar Cooper, Calvion Lynch, Jazinae Morill, Ranajae Morill, Wayland Lynch, Kelsea Cooper, Ambrea Cooper, Chloe Taylor, Amiyah Cooper. Stepchildren: Brandon Cooper, Brittany Simon, Mesia Simon, Robert Ridge, Dare and Quinqueiara Ogunyemi, Chinonso and Keontinay Ezeama, Bre’Anna Wilkerson. Grandkids: Hezekiah Harris, Keziah Ezeama, Andre Ogunyemi, James Ezeama, K’Myah Hope.
Pallbearers will be Durke Ellis, Willie Ellis, Todd Swoopes, Calvion Lynch, Shamar Cooper, David Hope.

We would personally like to thank Dr. Scotty Ortega, the staff at Medical Center Hospital of Odessa, Texas, Encompass Health of Midland, Texas, and the Home Hospice of Odessa, Texas for their professional services. We would sincerely like to thank Living Vision and their Pastor, Elder James Porter for their hospitality and the use of their facility.
