Candida Chavez

Candida Chavez, 74, of Odessa, TX, formerly of Ft. Stockton, TX died peacefully in her sleep on May 25, 2017 at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa.
Candida was born on October 3, 1942 in Ft. Stockton, TX. She is preceded in death by her parents, Domingo Sr. and Rosenda Pisana, three brothers Monico Pisana, Billy Pisana, Eusebio Pisana, and two sisters Maria Pisana Martinez, Pola Pisana Rubio and two grandchildren LaShauna Rivera Taylor, Kendra Rivera Harris.
Candida was a homemaker living in Odessa. She loved her family and grandkids. She is survived by her children Ramon Rivera (Mary), Oscar Rivera (Jackie), Anthony Rivera (Phyllis), Rosie Rivera (Oscar), Paul Rivera (Sheryl) Robert Chavez (Wendy) Ramiro Chavez (Tamara), Jerry Chavez (Yessica), Joe Chavez(Dolores), and Armida Chavez Pierce (Devon).
She also leaves to cherish 37 Grandchildren, 43 Great Grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Candida is also survived by her sisters Gabina Pisana Hernadez, Juanita Pisana Acosta, Linda Pisana Minjarez, Cecila Pisana Garcia, Christina Pisana Guerrero, and her brothers include Manuel Pisana, and Domingo Pisana Jr.
Visitation will be held Sunday, May 28, 2017 1:00pm-5:00pm, Monday, May 29, 2017 9:00am-9:00pm Tuesday, May 30, 2017 9:00am-9:00pm at Martinez Funeral Home Chapel.

Rosary will be at 7:00pm on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at Martinez Funeral Home of Odessa, TX
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00am on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at St. Joseph Church. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial. Funeral arrangements: Martinez Funeral Home of Odessa, TX
