Carlos "Cain" C. Cadena, 67 of Odessa passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2017 In Odessa, Texas.
Visitation will be held 5pm to 9pm Tuesday, January 2, 2018 and 9am to 9pm on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 with Rosary at 7pm at Martinez Funeral Home.
Mass will be held at 1:00pm on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Cremation will follow. Arrangements are under Martinez Funeral Home and Crematory.
Carlos was born in Loving, New Mexico to Carlos Cadena Sr. and Ramona Calderon on May 22, 1950. He went to school in Grandfalls Royalty High School in Grandfalls, Texas.
He married Apolonia Olivas Cadena on September 30, 1980 in Odessa, Texas. He served in the U.S. Navy on board USS. Enterprise during Vietnam and received
an honorable discharge. He was the owner of Cadena's Tire & Auto. He worked and retired of mechanic and tire repair after 34 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents Carlos Cadena and Ramona Calderon and sisters, Lupe Rey and Maria Christina Cadena and brother Robert Calderon.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 37 years, Apolonia Olivas Cadena, his children; Jorge and wife Gaby Cuellar, Veronica and husband Wally Navarrete,
Maria Christine Cadena and husband Jose L. Rios, Christopher and wife Tina Cadena and Susana Cadena and his grandchildren he dearly loved, Arturo Cerros, Coraima Cuellar,
Adriel Cadena, Samantha Navarrete, Valeria Rios, Josue Rios, Abby Saldana, Rodrigo Cadena, Issac Hernandez and Eric Hernandez.
Pallbearers will be Jorge Cuellar, Christopher Cadena, Jose L. Rios, Arturo Cerros, Wally Navarrete and Israel Cadena.
