Carlos Roberto Martinez

Carlos was born in Chihuahua, Mexico to Francisca Casarez and Roberto Martinez on February 21, 1947.  He married Bertha Alicia Bustillos on December 14, 1968 in Chihuahua Mexico.  

Carlos was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who will be missed greatly. He was a devout Catholic and a member of St Joseph's Catholic Church. 

Carlos is survived by his wife of 55 years, Bertha Alicia Martinez, and three children Carlos Martinez, Bertha Martinez Nunez and son-in-law Andy Nunez and Paty Martinez Lujan and son-in-law Guillermo Lujan. 

He is preceded in death by his father Roberto Martinez, his mother Francisca Casarez, his sister Cristina Martinez Rodarte, and his brother Raul Delgado.

He leaves behind 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. 

Visitation has been set for Wednesday, January 3, 2024, from 2pm -9 pm with Rosary beginning at 7pm. Mass will be held Thursday, January 4, 2024, at St. Joseph Catholic Church at 2 pm with Father ​Carlos Rodriguez officiating. Burial will follow at Ector County Cemetery. 

Pallbearers will include Carlos Martinez Jr., Andy Nunez, Angel Lujan, Josue Lujan, Miguel Sanchez, and Oscar Chavez.

Carlos nació en Chihuahua, México, hijo de Francisca Casarez y Roberto Martínez el 21 de Febrero de 1947. Se casó con Bertha Alicia Bustillos el 14 de Diciembre de 1968 en Chihuahua, México.
