Celia Davila

CELIA OLAGUE DAVILA, 67 of Odessa went to be with the Lord on Friday, December 7, 2018 in Odessa, Texas.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2018 from 5pm to 9pm and on Sunday, December 9, 2018 from 9am to 9pm with a Prayer service at 7pm at Martinez Funeral Home.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, December 10, 2018 at 10:00am at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Father Tony Franco officiating.

Burial will follow at Ector County Cemetery Odessa II section. Arrangements are by Martinez Funeral Home.

Celia Olague Davila was born in Big Spring Texas August 29, 1951 to Ricardo & Maria Louisa Olague. She made her home in Odessa, Texas where she attended and graduated from Ector High School. She married the love of her life, Joe Davila Sr, on July 13, 1974. She was very involved with her family. She loved to take care of her granddaughters and her great - grandson. She loved her nieces and nephews with all her heart, many of which enjoyed vacations with the family. She also enjoyed cooking, sewing baby blankets for her grandbabies, swimming, the Dallas Cowboys, the Dallas Mavericks, and of course, Elvis Presley.

Spending time with her family was her greatest joy in life. Her memory will live on through the hearts of so many she knew and loved. We love you mom!

She is survived by her husband Jose Catarino Davila Sr., her children Joe Davila Jr., Adela Davila, and Corie Olague, her granddaughters Mercedes Sanchez, Melaina Davila, Mikayla Davila, Hailey Webster, Alyssa Villanueva, her great grandson Noah Ray Davila, and her siblings Virginia DeLeon, Richard Olague Jr and Benjamin Olague.

Pallbearers will be Abriam Davila, Felipe Davila, Joe Deleon, Richard Olague III, Justin Olague, Tino Rodriguez, Greg Deleon, and Michael Soto.

Arrangements are entrusted to Martinez Funeral Home & Crematory of Odessa Texas.
