Celia Abila (92 Years Old) Passed Away: August 17, 2022 peacefully in her home surrounded by her family.

Martinez Funeral Home- Outside -  Chapel Visitation time begins at 1:00 PM up until 9:00 PM, on August 21, 2022 Prayer/Rosary Service will be 7:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, August 22nd at Our Lady of Refuge Catholic Church in Barstow, Texas. Held by Deacon Rudy Villegas. Burial will follow at Ward County Cemetery in Barstow, Texas at 11:30 AM Arrangements are by Martinez Funeral Home.

Celia Abila was born to Juan and Maria Jasso. She went to school at Candelaria, Texas.   She married Nicolas R. Abila on November 19,1949 in Barstow, Texas. Celia worked as School Teacher’s Assistant for ten years and after marriage, a housewife.  Celia attended Our Lady of Refuge in Barstow and was an active member of La Guadalupanas serving her community whenever needed.

Celia is preceded in death by Spouse, Nicolas R. Abila, Son, Benito Abila, Son, Francisco Abila and Grandson, Cruz Abila Jr., Brother, Carlos Jasso, Sister, Sulema Chavez, Sister, Dora Moreno, Brother, Enrique Jasso, Brother, Pancho Jasso

Celia is survived by her Children Cruz and Olga Abila, Anita and Juan Rodriguez, Rosa and Larry Serrano, Alicia and Orlando Garcia, Stephen and Elsa Abila, Yolanda and Jim Butler, Nicolas and Terry Abila, Emma and Armando Montemayor
