Cesar Marquez, 73, of Odessa, passed away on January 31, 2018 at 1:55 A.M. in Odessa, Texas.
Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. to 10:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 3 at Martinez Funeral Home. Rosary for Cesar will be held Sunday, February 4 at 7:00 P.M. at
Martinez Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, February 5, 2018 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church with Father Fernando Bonilla, MSP, officiating.
Burial will follow at Ector County Cemetery. Arrangements are by Martinez Funeral Home.
Cesar Marquez was born in Benavides, Mexico to Anastacio and Maria Marquez on August 16, 1944. He married Delia Granado in Mexico on May 3, 1963.
He worked in farming from Florida to North Carolina to Michigan and also worked in construction.
Cesar Marquez is preceded in death by his parents Anastacio and Maria Marquez, his brothers Ubaldo and Rodrigo Marquez and sister Enedina Marquez.
Cesar Marquez is survived by his wife, Delia Marquez, his children Hector Marquez and his wife Teresa and their children Hector, Jr. and Natalie, his son Homer Marquez
and his children Amanda, Yevette, Ashely, Heather, Stephanie, and Homer, Jr., his son Cesar Marquez, Jr. and his children Mayra, Cesar, III, and Jacqueline, his son
Rigoberto Marquez and his children Lucero and Isaac, his daughter Dilema Franco and her husband Bonifacio and their children Kristina, Vanessa, and Marcus,
his daughter Victoria Bermea and her children Erica, Marina, and Randy, and his son Eric Marquez and his wife Bianca and their children Noemi, and Eric.
He is also survived by his siblings Estela Marquez, Martin Marquez, Humberto Marquez, Anastacio Marquez, Artemio Marquez, and Javier Marquez.
Cesar Marquez leaves behind 16 great-grandchildren.
