Charlette Rene JonesPride passed away on March 22, 2014 at Odessa Regional Medical Center in Odessa Texas after a short illness.

She was born in Odessa Texas on January 23, 1963 to Charlie Louis Jones Sr. and Dorothy Rhone Jones. After attending Ector High School she attended McMurry Christian College in Abilene, Texas were she received her Associate in Accounting.

Charlette became a member of St. James Baptist Church where she was very active in many ministries of the church namely the choirand teaching the Youth Sunday school. Later she moved to Dallas, Texas but never moved her membership from St. James Baptist Church. Charlette was employed by the State of Texas as a Worker 4 for 13 years and 8 months here in Odessa as an Advisor where she loved helping people.

On February 15, 2013 she was joined in marriage with Dennis Pride. Before her marriage to Dennis she had a son, Chadric Deon Jones.

Charlette is preceded in death by her parents Charlie Jones Sr. and Dorothy Rhone Jones.

She leaves to cherish her memories: Her husband, Dennis Pride of Odessa, her son Chadric Deon Jones of Odessa, Texas, Her sister Lisa Walker and husband Chris Walker of Odessa, Texas, her brother Charlie Jones Jr. of Odessa, Texas. She has 2 nieces and 1 nephew, with a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and friends and relatives.

Visitation will be on Wednesday from 11:00 am to 9:00 PM.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday March 27, 2014 at St. James Baptist Church at 1:00 PM with Rev McNiel officiating.

Interment will follow at Ector County Cemetery Peaceful Garden section.
