Charlie Minjarez Gonzales

Charlie Gonzales, 78, of Fort Stockton, Texas passed away on Thursday, June 10, 2021 in Odessa Texas.

Visitation will be 1pm to 9pm, Wednesday June 16, 2021 at Martinez Funeral Home, in Odessa, Texas.

Rosary will be at 7pm, Wednesday June 16, 2021 at Martinez Funeral Home, in Odessa, Texas.

Funeral services will be held 11am Thursday, June 17, 2021 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic church, in Fort Stockton, Texas with Father Hatch officiating.   Burial will follow at Fort Stockton Catholic Cemetery.

Charlie was born in Fort Stockton, Texas to Carlos and Basilia Gonzales on August 15, 1942.  He was married to Bessie Gonzales for 53 years.  He worked mainly as a truck driver. He was a lifetime member of Saint Joseph’s, which is now called Our Lady of Guadalupe.

Charlie is preceded in death by his wife Bessie Gonzales.

Charlie is survived by his son Johnny Gonzales and his wife Karisha Gonzales, 1 sister Lucy Gonzales, 2 brothers, Ismail Gonzales and Joe Gonzales.

Pallbearers will be: Efren Rodriguez, Eric Rodriguez, and Jordan Gonzales
