Cheryl Lynn Carrillo

Cheryl Lynn Carrillo, 51 of Pecos, TX passed away on September 7, 2023 in Odessa, TX.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM on Monday, September 18, 2023 at St Anthony’s Catholic Church in Odessa, TX with rosary beginning at 9:15 AM.

Cheryl Carrillo was born in Pecos, TX on February 2, 1972 to Andres F. Rayos and Ernestina V. Rayos. She was raised by her grandparents, Celestino “Tino” Rayos and Elva F. Rayos.  She went to Pecos High School.  She married Bartolo “Beto” Carrillo on February 1, 2002 in Pecos, TX.  

Cheryl is preceded in death by her husband, Bartolo “Beto” Carrillo.  Grandparents, Celestino “Tino” Rayos and Elva F. Rayos and brothers, Celestino “Tiny” Rayos, Jr., Jose Florez and Dennis F. Rayos.

Cheryl is survived by her sisters, Angelina R. Salinas of Del Rio, Tx, Irma Pena of Glendale, AZ, Barbara Atencio of Pueblo West, CO, Melissa Rayos of Dearborn, MI and brothers, Alfredo Florez and Peter Rayos, both from Odessa, TX and nieces and nephews.

Cheryl had a big heart in taking care of the elderly, especially our beloved Gramma. She also loved crafts and dogs.
