Christine Galvan

Christine “Baby” Galvan, 34, of Odessa, TX, passed away on August 1, 2023, in a heartbreaking car accident.

Visitation will be from 1pm-9pm on Monday, August 7^th, 2023, with prayer services at 7pm at the Martinez Funeral Home. Chapel services will follow on Tuesday, August 8^th, at 2pm.

Christine was born in EL Paso, TX to her loving parents Cristina Cadena and Leopoldo Galvan on May 30, 1989. She is survived by her four young children Gabriel (14), Gabriela (13), Michael (8), and Joshua (4): brothers George Cadena and Leopoldo Galvan Jr.: both her parents and all her aunts and uncles.

Christine was well known for her contagious laugh, smile that spread from ear to ear, selfless care for others, and her love for God. If you ever met her, you would not forget her or her loving soul.

This journey will be tough on her young children, but we will all be there to ease the pain and lend a helping hand. It breaks our heart that you were taken so unexpectedly. Your memory will never leave us and live long in our hearts. If we could give back time, we would want to see you again.

The family would like to thank the Odessa Fire Rescue and Police Department that responded to the crash and all those involved in her last moments. We deeply appreciate and are grateful for family and friends like you at this time of sorrow.

El velorio será de 1 pm a 9 pm el Lunes 7 de Agosto de 2023, con servicios de oración a las 7 pm en Martinez Funeral Home. Los servicios de la capilla seguirán el Martes 8 de Agosto a las 2pm.

Christine nació en EL Paso, TX de sus amados padres Cristina Cadena y Leopoldo Galvan el 30 de Mayo de 1989. Le sobreviven sus cuatro hijos pequeños Gabriel (14), Gabriela (13), Michael (8) y Joshua (4 ): hermanos George Cadena y Leopoldo Galvan Jr.: tanto sus padres como todos sus tíos y tías.

Christine era bien conocida por su risa contagiosa, su sonrisa que se extendía de oreja a oreja, su preocupación desinteresada por los demás y su amor por Dios. Si alguna vez la conocieras, no la olvidarías ni a ella ni a su alma amorosa.

Este viaje será difícil para sus hijos pequeños, pero todos estaremos allí para aliviar el dolor y brindar una mano amiga. Nos rompe el corazón que te hayan tomado tan inesperadamente. Tu recuerdo nunca nos dejará y vivirá mucho tiempo en nuestros corazones. Si pudiéramos devolver el tiempo, nos gustaría volver a verte.

La familia quisiera agradecer al Departamento de Policía y Bomberos de Odessa que respondió al accidente y a todos los involucrados en sus últimos momentos. Apreciamos profundamente y estamos agradecidos por familiares y amigos como usted en este momento de dolor.
