Cipriano Ramirez, 75 of Odessa, passed away on Wednesday, August 26th in Odessa.
A Pass By visitation will be held from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm at Martinez Funeral Home in Odessa, Texas
A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated on September 1, 2020 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church with Father Tony Franco officiating. Attendance is limited to 25 people at the church, all attending must wear a face mask and maintain social distancing.
The Funeral Mass will be live-streamed on Cipriano Ramirez Obituary, Go To www.martinezfuneral.com and click on Cipriano Obituary and click on the link posted by the funeral service, to be a part of the Funeral mass.
Burial will follow at Ector County Cemetery Odessa II Section.
Cipriano was born in Terlingua, TX to Reynaldo and Francisca Ramirez on September 25, 1944. He married Cruzita Rosas on February 25, 1964 in Odessa. He worked for RKG Engineering for more than 30 years until an untimely illness in 2010. He served in the US Navy. He loved to play pool in the Odessa pool league and go to Bingo.
He is preceded in death in by his parents Reynaldo and Francisca Ramirez, brother Raul Ramirez and sister Eva Guerrero.
He is survived by his wife, Cruzita Ramirez, son, Martin Ramirez of Odessa, daughters Sylvia (Israel) Urias of Sanger, TX and Cynthia Ramirez of Odessa; sister Michaela Flores of St Paul, MN; brothers Adan (Lucinda) Ramirez and Tony (Rita) Ramirez both of Odessa; granddaughter Brandy Narvaiz; grandsons Joshua (Karen) Dutchover, Jonathan (Victoria) Vasquez, Christopher Ramirez and Cristian Luna; great grandchildren Matthew Velasco, Joseph Velasco, Arianna Velasco, Isaiah Dutchover, Alizae Ramirez, Zechariah Dutchover, Joshiah Dutchover, Adilyn Ramirez and Anthony Vasquez and several in laws and nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Joshua Dutchover, Jonathan Vasquez, Cristopher Ramirez, Matthew Velasco, Joseph Velasco, Daniel Hernandez, Andrew Ramirez, and Joe Angel Ramirez
The family of Cipriano would like to extend our sincere thanks to his friend whom he loved like a son Oviedo Lujan for always going above and beyond for him these last 10 years and to all the doctors and nurses at Medical Center Hospital ICU for the wonderful care they took care of him during his time in the hospital.
