Ciro Rubio Baeza

Ciro Rubio Baeza, 75, of Odessa, TX, passed away on February 14, 2023, in Odessa, TX.

Public visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. -6:00 p.m. Monday, February 20, 2023, at Martinez Funeral Home-outside-Chapel.

Rosary will be from 7:00 p.m. -9:00 p.m. Monday, February 20, 2023, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church with Fr. Frank Chavez officiating, burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.  Arrangements are by Martinez Funeral Home.

Ciro was born in Cuchillo Parado, Chih. Mexico to Eleuteria Rubio and Cruz Baeza on January 8, 1948.  He married Martha Tavarez Medrano on November 6, 1971, in Mexico.  He worked most of his life as a fishing tool technician in the oil field industry.  He was a devoted catholic, he also served for the Criminal Justice Ministry for the Catholic Diocese of San Angelo.

Ciro is proceeded in death by his father Cruz Baeza, mother Eleuteria Rubio de Baeza, brother Javier Baeza, sisters Bertha Baeza de Quinoñez and Maria Candelaria Baeza de Modesto.

Ciro is survived by his wife of 51 years in marriage Martha Tavarez de Baeza, daughter Lidia Baeza Aguilar and husband Salome Aguilar, son Ciro Alberto Baeza and wife Claudia Dueñas Baeza, daughter Guadalupe Baeza Perez and husband Jose Angel Perez, son Cristobal Baeza and wife Guadalupe Ortega Baeza, grandchildren- Allison, Zaira, Abraham, Ciro Alberto II, Miguel, Krislynn, Camilla, Jazira, and Claryssa.

Pallbearers will be Ciro A. Baeza, Ciro A. Baeza II, Jose A. Perez, Miguel A. Perez, Salome Aguilar, Abraham Lopez, Cristobal Baeza, and Julio Gonzalez.
