Clint Thomas, affectionately known as "Big Clint," passed away peacefully on February 24, 2025, in Odessa, Texas. Born on May 17, 1955, in Marlin, Texas, Clint lived a life characterized by generosity, warmth, and a deep commitment to helping others.
Throughout his life, Clint was known for his giving nature and willingness to lend a hand to those in need. He exemplified kindness through his dedicated service, including many years spent assisting Mrs. Bells with cleaning apartments, a testament to his compassionate spirit.
His family will forever cherish a particularly heroic memory: when out fishing his young son, Dwayne, was just six years old, Clint saved his life from drowning, demonstrating not only his bravery but also the unconditional love he had for his child.
Clint had a passion for fixing up cars, fishing and the thrill of riding his motorcycle that brought him joy and a sense of freedom. Clint had a deep love for his pit bulls, whom he trained with care and affection.
A Celebration of Life will be held in honor of Clint at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Odessa, Texas, on March 8, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. This gathering will serve as an opportunity for family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Clint to come together in remembrance and gratitude for the profound legacy he leaves behind.
