Cosme Valenzuela

Cosme Dominguez Valenzuela passed away on October 10, 2017 in Odessa, Texas.
Visitation will be on October 12, 2017 at Martinez Funeral Home in Odessa from 1:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. and the Rosary will be at 7:00 P.M
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on October 13, 2017 at St. Joseph's Church with Father Chavez officiating. Burial will follow at Ector County Cemetery. Arrangements are by Martinez Funeral Home.
Cosme was born in Redford, Texas on September 27, 1936. His parents were Porfirio and Manuela Valenzuela. Cosme married Sulema Morales on March 12, 1956 and moved to Pecos, Texas. They had five children and moved to Odessa in 1965. Cosme worked for General Tire Rubber Company and retired in 1990. He also worked with his son, Gilbert Valenzuela, at Gilly V. Trucking Company. He was an avid traveler and fisherman.
Cosme is preceded in death by his youngest child Diana Valenzuela Carrasco.
He is survived by his wife Sulema Valenzuela and his children Adolfo Valenzuela, Gilbert Valenzuela, Dora Valenzuela-Venne, and Irma Valenzuela-Lampe. His grandchildren Alex Valenzuela, Alexis Valenzuela, Crystal Llanez-Martinez, Chrissy Llanez-Gonzalez, Christopher Llanez, and Lynn Llanez,Fabian Maldonado, Adrian Maldonado,Brittany Carrasco, Victoria Carrasco. He also has numerous great-granchildren.
Pallbearers will be Adrian Maldonado, Fabian Maldonado, Alex Valenzuela, Christopher Llanez, and Lynn Llanez, and Jaime Zepeda.
