Cruz Navarrete

Cruz C. Navarrete, 74, of Odessa, passed away on February 19, 2016 in Odessa, Texas.
Visitation will be held 12pm -9pm Sunday, February 21, 2016 with a Rosary at 7pm at Martinez Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10am Monday, February 22, 2016 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Father Chavez officiating. Burial will follow at Ector County Cemetery in Rose Hill Garden. Arrangements are under the care of Martinez Funeral Home.
Cruz was born on May 3, 1941 in Coyame, Chihuahua to Pilar Navarrete and Eloisa Carrillo. He was raised in Coyame, Chihuahua and came to the United States in 1960 to begin a new life for himself. Cruz was a man of many hats in the workforce, as a rancher, welder, cabinet maker and finally retiree. Cruz was married for 50 years to Rosa Navarrete and were active members of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Odessa, Texas.
Cruz is survived by his wife Rosa, his children Lorenzo (wife - Adrianna) Navarrete, Jose (wife - Tammy) Navarrete, Raul (wife - Yesenia) Navarrete and daughter Rosa Navarrete Quiroz. His grandchildren include; Anthony & Anneliese Navarrete, Christopher, Jose Jr., Josiah & Jayden Navarrete, Brighton, Samuel & Sabastian Navarrete and Brianna Marie Quiroz.
