Cynthia Mendez Hernandez

Cindi M Hernandez, affectionately known as Nana, peacefully departed at the age of 64 on January 16th, 2024, in Odessa, TX. She reunites with her beloved parents, Frank & Eulalia Mendez, in eternal serenity. As the co-founder of the Taste of Latin car club and the Tejano Super Car show, she adorned roles as a cherished wife, a nurturing mother, and a beloved Nana to those near and dear to her heart.

Join us for a time of reflection and remembrance on Sunday, January 21st, 2024, as we gather at Martinez Funeral Home. Family to receive friends from 2PM - 5PM. A heartfelt service at 3PM. Pastor Tuesday from Trinity Rhema Church will graciously officiate the ceremony.

Cindi, a radiant soul, brought joy and warmth to those around her. Her caring nature extended to ensuring no one felt overlooked. With a constant sparkle in her eyes, she exemplified a big-hearted fighter, a role model for all who crossed her path. In our hearts, we hold dear memories of a woman who loved deeply, gave abundantly, and made each person feel uniquely valued. Today, we pay tribute to Cindi's enduring legacy and the profound imprint she left on each of us.

She is survived by her husband, Nicky Hernandez Sr., and sister, Mary Lou Mendez, along with her husband, Toby. Her son, Nick Hernandez Jr., and wife, Stephanie Hernandez. Grandchildren: Eric, Mercedes, Nikki, David, Javen, Daniel, Nicholas, and Josiah. Nick A. Hernandez and grandchildren: Nicholas, Israel, Ishmael, Mireya. Great-grandchildren: Elsie, Lil Anthony, Aleese, Sebastián, Evannie. Niece Jessica Flores and husband Franklin (Sterling City, TX).
