Damon Marichalar

Damon Mark (Taz) Marichalar, 36 of Odessa, passed away on December 6, 2015 in Tehama, California.

Funeral Mass will be held at 2pm, Friday, December 18, 2015 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Father Isidore officiating. Burial will follow at Ector County Cemetery in Rose Hill Garden. Arrangements are under the care of Martinez Funeral Home.

Damon Mark Marichalar was born on July 29, 1979 to Hector Marichalar and Robin Gayle Howell. Damon was raised by Paternal Grandparents, Eliseo and Josephina Marichalar with the help of brothers and sisters in Odessa, Texas.

Damon enjoyed spending time with family, he was very caring and with a big heart. Always had a smile on his face and made friends easily. He graduated from Aurora, Colorado High School.

Those left to cherish his love and memory are his parents, Hector and wife Marina Marichalar of Odessa, mother Robin Gayle Howell of Odessa, daughters, Isela Montoya of Odessa and Priscilla Marichalar of California, brothers - Mark Marichalar, Eliseo Marichalar, Alex Aguirre, Noe Marichalar Sr., Al Marichalar, Armando Marichalar of Odessa, Ray Marichalar of Keller, Texas and Jesse Castillo of Roswell, NM, sisters - Chelsie Ashworth of Killeen, Texas, Robin White of Waco, Texas, Aracelia Marichalar Olivas, Nallely Carrillo, Marisol Aguirre of Odessa, Haydee Marichalar of Midland, Birdy Perez of Baytown, Texas.
Damon is preceded in death by grandparents Eliseo and Josephina Marichalar, sister Elizde Castillo, brother Raul Marichalar and cousin Heidi Nycole Evans Marichalar.
