Daniel Segovia

Daniel "Danny" Segovia, 52, of Pecos, left to be with our heavenly father on Monday Jan. 7th.

Visitation will be held Wednesday January 9th, 2019 from 9:0 AM - 9:00 PM with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM at Martinez Funeral Home

Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday January 10th, 2019, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church at 2:00 Pm in Odessa Texas.

Burial will follow at Ector County Cemetery- Odessa II Section.

He was born July 22nd, 1966 to Marcos Segovia and Ida Martinez in Pecos, TX. Danny was a very loving and caring man who touched so many lives. He was always willing to share a good laugh or just be there if you needed someone to talk to. He was a very loving father, grandfather, uncle, great uncle and friend. Danny had this special ora about him, he made friends and touched hearts everywhere he went. He loved inner acting with children. He was every child's Grampa. Danny loved his Harley and riding was his life. He loved listing to Oldies and was a huge fan of the Dallas Cowboys. He played softball in his younger years and was actually very good at it.

He was part of The Messengers MC; this club is abstinence from drugs and alcohol. He changed his life by joining this club. He started a clean and sober life and became part of a whole different family, members which he called Brother and Sisters. The day he had his stroke was the day he was going to be presented with his 3 years chips, something Danny was very proud of.

Danny was preceded in Death by his father Marcos Segovia, mother Ida Martinez, Sister Angie Segovia and his Grandma Lupe Talamantez. He is also preceded in Death by 2 miscarriage babies, one being his own and the other a grandbaby.

He is survived by his Ex-Wife Eva Segovia, his 2 sons Johnny Ray Segovia, David Segovia and daughter Ashley Segovia. Danny was blessed with 2 grandchildren, Aiden Ray Bernal and Jerah Adison Bernal.

Pallbearers will be Steven Ramirez, Alex Gutierrez, Jannette Ortiz, Oscar Galindo, Louie Galindo, Alonzo Ramirez


Arrangements are entrusted to Martinez Funeral Home and Crematory of Odessa.
