He was a beloved son, father, brother, uncle, grandpa, and friend.

He was awarded for best exterior at the “ Taste of Latin Car Club” center for his 1976 Pontiac Grand Prix lowrider car in 1979. He enjoyed cruising in his car and washing it when he was younger before it got wrecked.

He was a devoted customer to Whataburger for many years and ordered his favorite drink (A large sweet tea with extra ice) up two times a day. He never missed eating Tacos from Rosas Cafe on Taco Tuesdays. After his niece, Susie gave him “one sip” of her iced Matcha latte from Starbucks, it became his favorite drink and loved it with extra whipped cream! He loved eating both of his sister’s cooking, Like Edna’s homemade beans and salads and Debra’s enchiladas and ribs! And all the other foods they would both make during the holidays and during family gatherings. He especially looked forward to Thanksgiving day because his sister Debra would make a whole feast with his favorite foods.

David enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys play, wrestling, scary movies, and Nickelodeon with SpongeBob being his favorite show to watch.

He always looked forward in seeing his two great nieces after school who he called “Sereny aka Punky Brewster (Serenity)” and his Mija “Koey, (Khloe). He always enjoyed spending time with his family, friends, and his Cat named “James” who he loved so much and always kept him company. He cherished his visits from his nephews, nieces, great nephews, and great nieces when they would all visit him because it made the noise in the house sound so beautiful that he could fall asleep peacefully. He had a very special bond that blossomed uniquely with his two great nephews who he called Mijo “Anthony” & Mijo “Jesse Jr” that was unbreakable.
