Dejion Rangel

Dejion DeShauzar Rangel of Odessa, TX passed away suddenly in a fatal car accident on December. 20, 2021. Dejion was born on February 10, 1993, in Odessa, TX to Nakiba LeeAnna Rangel. She later met and married Jamie Aza Miller.

Dejion was  a bright light to his family, always singing and dancing. He didn’t allow anyone to be unhappy around him. He loved his family very much. He was the biggest jokester and that is what made him a great person to be around. Dejion was a friend to everyone he met. He was a shoulder to those in need and always seen the best in every situation. Losing him so suddenly has left a huge void in our family. We are happy for the memories that we have that we will look back on and laugh and yes even cry, but to know him was to know love and selflessness as he always put others needs before his own.

He is preceded death by his grandfather: Bobby Joe Elliott; great grandmother: Julia Castellon Munoz; great grandfather: Teofilo Rangel; step grandfather: Isidro Munoz and great grandmother: Eddie Lee Lockhart.

He leaves to cherish his memory his mother: Nakiba Miller; father: Jamie Miller; fiancé: Quasha Stevens; son: Zayden Stephens; sisters: Azaria Miller, Jamia Miller, Jayla Miller, Nyla Miller and Niaj Miller; maternal grandmother: Velma Rangel; uncle: Jeremy Rangel; aunt: Debbie Rangel;  nephews: Zamir Miller and Jabari Walker; cousins: Tavaria Ferrell Janiya Rangel, Jeremiah Rangel, Jeremy Rangel Jr., Beautiful Journey Rangel; biological father: Christopher Ross; paternal grandmother: Marva Ross and paternal great grandmother: Beulah Hutchinson.
