Delma Muniz

Delma Miranda Muniz of Chatsworth, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, December 27, 2019 at Odessa Apostolic Faith Tabernacle on 2321 N. Adams in Odessa, with Minister Arturo Barrientos officiating.  Burial will follow at Ector County Cemetery in Odessa II Section.  Arrangements are entrusted to Martinez Funeral Home and Crematory.

Delma Miranda Muniz was born in Ojinaga, Chihuahua to Victoria Miranda on November 25, 1958. She went to school in Ojinaga, Chihuahua. Delma married Rogelio Arenivas Muniz and had two children, Rogelio A. Muniz and Erica Miranda Muniz. She loved telling jokes and making everyone laugh. Her passion was sewing and crocheting. She also enjoyed cooking for her loved ones and going to the flea markets on weekends. She would not visit much but always made a priority to keep contact with everyone via phone or Facebook.

Delma is preceded in death by her husband Rogelio A. Muniz and grandson Fabian Rey Lujan.

Delma is survived by two sons; Rogelio A. Muniz Jr and wife Susana L. Muniz and Eric Miranda Muniz and wife Adriana U. Muniz; grandkids Yaritza Ortiz, Roy Muniz III, Vivian Bitolas, Ivan Muniz, Bridget Muniz, Abel Muniz, Rene Muniz, Izel Muniz, Karely Muniz and 6 great grandkids; Ethan Zatarain, Addy Ortiz, Jacob Bitolas, Jazae Bitolas, Ayden Muniz and 2 adopted grandkids, Jesse Lara and David Lara.

Pallbearers will be Isaias Serrano, Rogelio A. Muniz Jr., Eric Miranda Muniz, Ivan Muniz, Abe Muniz, Rene Muniz, Izel Muniz and Jesse Lara.
