Denise was the first born of 3 girls to the union of Henry Palacios and Julie Santoyo Palacios. She spent her childhood in El Paso Tx. And graduated from Burges High School in El Paso Tx in 1979 where she received a volleyball scholarship to San Angelo State University where she later graduated collage with a bachelor’s in computer science. Denise moved to Odessa in the early 80’s and brought into her union Rhea and Clarissa the love of her life. In 1999 a new union was formed Denise married her husband of 23 yrs and her and her best friend Robert Norris Draughan. To their union 4 children and 1 grandson was added.

Denise is proceeded in death by her Father; Henry Palacios and her Sister; Linda Acosta (Gilbert)

She leaves to cherish her memory her Husband; Robert Norris Draughan of Odessa, Tx. Her Daughter; Rhea Hernandez of New Braunfels Tx. Clarissa Hernandez of El Paso, Tx.  Brandon and Brock Draughan of Arlington, Tx. And 1 grandson Ezra Magallanes of El Paso, Tx. One Sister; Nancy Patrick (Mark) of Anchorage, Alaska. A host of nieces, Nephews and Friends.
