Devonte Xavier Jones was born in Midland Texas to Chris Jones and Manikia Patel on August 22, 1993. He married Courtney (Paige) Jones on June 29, 2019 in Odessa Texas. He graduated from Permian High School. He worked as a Tow Truck driver for Blue Star Towing. Devonte loved spending time with his family by taking them places and doing family outings. His specialized in spending time with the love of his life at the movies, dinner and nurturing his children. He will truly be missed and a void that cannot be replaced.
Devonte is preceded in death by his grandparents Clinton Eugene Jones, Chhaganlal Patel, Juan and Vicki Belen.
Devonte is survived by Courtney (Paige) Jones: Children Honesty and Xavior Pride, Siblings Markel Jones, Brandon Belen and J’Lyn Jones: Parents Chris and Amy Jones of Odessa, Asad Younes and Manika Patel of Austin Texas, the beloved Grandparents Thomas and Deborah Pride of Midland Texas. Ramila Patel of Mineral Wells, Texas.
Pall bearers will be Markel Jones, Josh Brownlee, James Calhoun, Kris Choate, Billy Grooms, Tyler Raines, Austin Byrd, Josh Minor and Tony Starling.
Honorary pall bearers will be Xavior Pride and Brandon Belen.

We, the family of Devonte Jones wishes to extend our sincere thanks to all of you who sent donations, cards, flowers, brought food, shared a story or a laugh. If you did none of these but simply said a prayer on our behalf, we appreciate that too. We extend a special thank you to Dr. Dar, Michael, Chris, and Joey at ORMC 3rd wing West COVID unit and Blue Star Towing for their support and love they have shown. As well, as to Martinez Funeral home for their expertise and professionalism. Thank you Northside Baptist Church for all of your love, support and service during this trying time.
